Civil War in Yemen

by Ryan Abraham Ernest Ventriloquist, D.D., The Leader of the church

Following the Arab Spring uprisings of 2010 and 2011, the Yemenis people toppled their authoritarian government with a peaceful uprising and put into place a transitional government, intended to hold for six months until a national constitution was written and a permanent government put into place. Saudi Arabi, on the northern boundary of Yemen, facilitated this transitional government and after, Yemen’s Houthi faction was put into place to be in charge of the permanent government, but the transitional government, under some auspices of Saudi Arabia, failed to step down. Since then, there has been a fraction in Yemen, leading to a protracted armed conflict, a civil war. It has led to rampant destitution throughout Yemen and widespread starvation in the south of Yemen.

US, UK Strike Houthis in Yemen

by Ryan Ernest Abraham Ventriloquist, D.D., The Leader of the church

The Houthis in Yemen have been firing missiles at Israel and targeting cargo vessels in the Red Sea. The missiles fired at Israel were intercepted by the US Navy. In response to the Houthis’ attacks, the US and UK launched a joint operation against the Houthis in Yemen. The US has held Iran accountable as the primary culprit in supporting the Houthis militarily and strategically in Yemen.

Cosmological Megaring Superstructure Discovered, Perhaps Defying the Cosmological Principle

by Ryan Abraham Ernest Ventriloquist, D.D., The Leader of the church

A PhD student in Lancashire has discovered a gargantuan superstructure about 8 billion light years away that is 1.3 billion light years in diameter and 4 billion light years in circumference, which challenges an underlying assumption in cosmology called the cosmological principle, which states that above a certain spacial level, outer space is identical. The Big Ring, as it is referred to, is as wide as about 14 full moons in a night sky, but it too far to see from the earth. This means that farther away than meets the eye, space does not remain constant above spacial calculus.  This notion seems to defy the cosmological assumption, but there are still certain questions to take into account prior to saying it certainty defies the cosmological assumption.  Most ontologies of the universe either place as their center nexus mankind, or the Lord.  As man is the most loved creature of God, would it make sense to say there is a purpose into taking into account what cannot be seen by the naked eye in accounts of the cosmos, and is not a supernatural property, structure, essence, or system which can be fathomed, experienced, or part of man in his day-to-day strivings with God?  Then again, the twenty-first century man has found a way to be one in essence with, through astronomical technology, this far away gargantuan, the Big Ring, if he deems fit convening with the vast realm of the unseen emptiness of space. Stating this discovery does not defy the cosmological assumption because our night sky is unchanged is a traditionalist understanding, as it maintains our basic sense of purpose and direction in the cosmos as with God on a path where he shows us his love in the sky he has decorated. In a modernist interpretation, the cosmological assumption remains in place where there is still uncertainty and perilous difficulty amid a tumultuous struggle to find meaning and purpose amid randomness and disorder; looking at the night sky still indicates a tininess in the vast cosmos in which man can not lay hold of his own purpose and meaning in any transcendent notions. But in a postmodern sweep of thought, now man can bury himself away in faraway distant, dreamless wonderings of the vast unknown. In any of the three, God is still humankind’s rock and source of strength.
