As Israel Works to Maintain Regionality of Conflict in Gaza as a One-Front War, Iran Determined to Spread Conflict Throughout the Middle East

It has come to light that some of the major actors involved in the October 7, 2023 Hamas’ attack on southern Israel that killed over 1,200 people and in which the Hamas terrorist organization abducted 124 Israelis—some of the Israelis lived in a Kabbutz, all lived in tight-knit, locally-thriving communities— some of the people who perpetuated these crimes were trained in their methods of violence in Iran; we see the Houthis in Yemen, in the southernmost section of the Arabian peninsula, were also trained in the same means by Iran, which led to their attacks this past month on Israeli ships and cargo boats headed to Israeli ports (their intention to blockade Israel). Most recently, just Tuesday, the 17th of January 2024, Iran attacked what their government claimed to be an Israeli settlement in Pakistan. Just earlier today, Pakistan hit Iran with missiles in retaliation, targeting a terrorist cell that is active in their sovereign terrain. On top of that, Hezbollah, a militant group that has considerable clout in the government of Lebanon and sizable support of the people of Lebanon have carried out dozens of missile strikes at Israel which Israel shot down with its air defense capabilities, and this group, Hezbollah, was also trained, funded and directed by Iran.

May our prayers be with the people of Israel and all the innocent civilians impacted by these unnecessary conflicts, and that the people involved in the fighting reach more informed and accepting understanding of other cultures, countries, and peoples, and more knowledge and tolerance of differences.
